The new home for Diesel and Gypsey has fallen through and they are now desperately looking for another home/s.
Very urgent as their owner is leaving the country next week.  DIESEL (Male) and GYPSEY (Female) KUSA registered Bull terriers are looking for a new approved home.  Gypsey will be spayed before going to her new home. They are both 3 years old.  They are fine with children but definitely no cats. Sleep inside/outside.  Can go separately.
Please phone Jackie (w) 031-2603011 / 073-0585102

BUTTERCUP (Ginger cat) 8 years old and DIZZY (who ‘talks a lot’) 6 years old are desperately looking for a new home/s.  Their owners are relocating end of May. They are both spayed and are dog friendly.  Please help as their owners are moving next week. Please phone John 082-7766896 or Val 082-8707764.  STRICT HOME CHECK APPLIES.

I followed a herd of 18 little donkeys along the Lion’s River Road (all the way from Impendle!!). They were being herded to the Lion’s River Auction yard to be auctionedTODAY.  I thought they were all wild as when I first tried to walk up to one, it shied away.  However, I went to see them again this afternoon and every single one allowed me to touch them, pat them and even play with their ears!!! They are adorable!!! Most are grey with the black stripe over their shoulders and some are dark brown.  Some are very young still too and still have a “baby” look – you know the fluffy forehead type!!  They are mostly skinny and full of ticks.  The pound guard that herded them there said that donkeys are usually bought by people that will use them to feed lions. I was horrified.  Donkeys can make wonderful pets – I know as owned a mommy and baby years ago.  I understand they will probably sell on auction for anything from R100 to R300 each.  I implore anybody that receives this email to please respond….  I’m going to go to the Auction tomorrow morning and hopefully can raise some funds to bring some home (much to my husband’s absolute horror!!!).  If anybody can assist, I would be most grateful as they will also need to be dewormed and dipped etc and once handled will need to find loving homes!!  Much better than being eaten I think.  Please forward to all and sundry.

Rex is a 4 year old male X German Shepherd and his best friend CUDDLES is a spayed 6 year old female Maltese.
They have been very badly neglected since their owner died a few months ago.  The neighbours are feeding them and
also had Cuddles groomed as her fur was badly matted. They have become very close since being on their own so should really go together. Lovely natures and very alert. Please phone Val 082-8707764 or Jean 031-4672483 / 078-4108714. HOME CHECK APPLIES
