Poster to view: Roxy & Buddy
Location: Port Elizabeth
Requirements: Must be homed together
Type: Ridgeback Cross
Reasons for rehoming: My fiance Andrew is 67 years old and Roxy and Buddy are far too big and strong for him to handle. When we take them for walks (4 times a week) they pull him so that he has on occasion over balanced, on one occassion being dragged across the road. He did not realize at the time that they would grow into such large dogs. We also live in a townhouse complex, and although the garden is bigger than normal, it is definitely not big enough for them.
Their story: Their names are Roxy and Buddy and he got them as puppies of 5 weeks old from the Animal Welfare Society. They have both been spayed, neutered and inoculated and will be 2 yrs old in November. They are lovely dogs with truly beautiful natures BUT we need to think of them and Andrew’s age. They need a place to run and be much freer than they currently are. We live in Beverley Grove and take them for long walks in the Guinea Fowl Trail which they love and it is such a joy to see them run free.
