When Zak was found, he was riddled with ticks and he was taken in by Barking Mad who are forever opening their doors and hearts to animals in need. He was taken to the vet with severe biliary and received a blood transfusion. He was only about 6 or 7 weeks old and was very thin and malnourished so his little body was not very strong.
Sadly, after dedication and no giving up from all involved, Zak did not make it. This is an example of how neglect can cause such pain to an animal that really does not deserve it. If people took the responsibility to sterilize their animals there would not be unwanted animals filling our streets, shelters and foster homes.
RIP Zak xx
